About this site

My name is Ben Klaus. As a UX/Product designer and tech curious guy, I'm always wanting to try building things. That's where this started. I also thought it would be nice to have a place to share things of interest to me, and have them live in one place forever...

Why Loose Rooster?

One day in like 2015, I was driving into Boulder, CO for work and saw a rooster running away from a farm. It was quite an image that's been seared into my memory. I thought "hmm a loose rooster!" and thought that would be a great URL, as one does... It became my social media handle everywhere. And over ten years later, it's the only fun URL I've purchased (of many) that I still own 🙃
